The best way to learn a new skill is to actually do it, so we invite you to join us here at Fieldcrest for our friendly Thursday morning group to garden, socialise and learn. It is an opportunity to garden throughout the year, following the seasons, working and learning in our lovely garden.

We have lots of different areas and activities here – garden borders, wildlife areas, pool, white garden, little orchard, kitchen garden with flowers, fruit, herbs and some vegetables, lawns, greenhouse and polytunnel – lots of variety to inspire and teach horticultural knowledge,  skills and practical experience that you can use in your own gardens or in a variety of other studies.

Each session will begin in our garden room where we will consider a horticultural topic or plant identification while having a cuppa, followed by activities for the week in the garden/polytunnel.

It’s a great opportunity to get fit, have fun and learn something new!
