At the end of another busy flower growing season, it’s time to hang up the snips until the spring!

Flowers from Fieldcrest is taking a break over the winter months as we don’t have enough blooms to keep supplying throughout the winter. We’ll be using this time to sow, propagate and cultivate and will be back in the spring with more locally-grown, sustainably sourced cut flowers.

Over the winter we don’t stop flower arranging altogether – we’ll be using winter foliage, berries and dried flowers to make wreaths and decorations. Keep an eye on our blog for our tips on how to do this over the coming months and details of our make your own wreath kits which will be available closer to Christmas.

We have plans for autumn and winter wreaths made with our fresh foliage for your front door and dining table – do contact me directly if you’d like one of these!

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported us this summer by ordering flowers. We loved putting together your bouquets and posies and were moved by the response of some of the surprised recipients when we delivered locally. We are very glad to have been able to play a small part in spreading joy to your loved ones when perhaps you haven’t been able to see them in person throughout these strenuous times.

All the best, Chris & team

Ps, why not sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page to be the first to hear when our flowers will be available again.
